In the last five years, we have dedicated much of our time to learning more about the science of our planet, the complex challenges facing humanity, and ways to share what we have learned with others. We adopted the social media handle ‘Somewhat Greener’, which soon became our passion project. Somewhat Greener has now grown into an independent media platform connecting activists, educators, scientists and thought leaders and that produces and shares content revolving around important issues and thought-provoking topics such as climate justice, the biodiversity crisis, and the transformation of cultural norms and values.

We closely follow the latest scientific and policy developments related to climate change, biodiversity and food systems and turn their findings into engaging content for online and offline platforms. We use storytelling as a tool to raise planetary awareness, enhance the collective understanding of socio-ecological issues, advocate for the stewardship of Earth’s ecosystems, and empower individuals and communities to make holistic and sustainable changes.

Below, you will find some of our graphic and written work (sorted under different topics) and references to studies, reports, and other sources we think are worth exploring! Please let us know if any of the links are broken or if you have feedback or ideas for a topic that needs addressing!

Climate Change

Let’s discuss climate science, including the causes and consequences of climate change, tipping points and feedback mechanisms, how climate models work, where climate is already felt today, and who is impacted the most. How hot can we handle, and what can we do to mitigate and adapt to climate change? We will discuss all that and much more in the work we share below.
