We had a great time facilitating three Climate Fresk workshops at the European Space Agency – ESA as part of their Earth Week. A warm thank you to all the amazing participants!
Through collective intelligence, everyone successfully mapped out the causes and consequences of climate change and came up with many actions to protect the planet we call home. We had wonderful discussions about how we, as professionals, role models, consumers, investors and citizens, can help create the systemic changes needed to reach net zero before 2050. In the end, we are more than consumers, and sustainability doesn’t start when we close the door behind us at work or school. Our impact as individuals can be really high, even without major behavioural sacrifice, but that requires us to be able to make the right choices, be given the right incentives to make low-emission choices, and be in an environment and have access to systems that support us in making these choices. This calls for systemic change; together, we have the power to make it possible.
We hope everyone enjoyed learning and sharing knowledge and that it inspired you all to take action on an individual and collective level. We had a wonderful time, it were three very inspiring evenings.
Thank you, Steven George and Marion Mirailles, for hosting, and thank you, Quentin Taupin, for promoting the sessions with the Climate Fresk quiz on Earth Day!
