The impact of leather on animal welfare – slider

Global leather consumption is harming our environment and is diminishing the lives of many living beings on this planet. We believe that this is not something we should turn a blind eye to. Living beings are killed by the billions annually for our lust for leather. They are raised under deplorable conditions and are often killed in brutal ways. There is no sustainable and ethical way to source their skin. All animals are conscious beings that value their own life more than someone values their leather accessories. Even when animals lived a long and happy life, they did not sign an agreement and offered their skin for us to wear. Who are we to decide what happens to the skin of an individual?

Luckily, many leather alternatives on the market look and feel the same and cause less harm to the environment, people and living beings.
