Don’t give power to hate

Yesterday, we joined Steve (@spacecraftengineer) and other worried citizens in a small but powerful rally organised by @platformstopracisme_ to raise our voices against the encroaching tide of hate and intolerance in the Netherlands. In our country and beyond, the far-right’s divisive rhetoric threatens to tear at the fabric of our society.

We came together to listen to and to connect with each other. We came together because we needed each other. We heard it several times yesterday: “organise, organise, organise.” And we must – #PeoplePower.

Let’s call for a society that works for everyone, a society that thrives on inclusivity, empathy, and justice, one where every individual is seen, heard, and valued, regardless of background, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation. Let’s stand together and demand a world without fascism, hate, violence, and oppression.

Whoever you are, and wherever you are based, let’s not give power to hate.
